Mimi lives in a difficult family: hyperactive son Felix, a chaotic ex-husband and a gambling father. Felix registers her for a casting show abroad. The prize could amortize their debts, so she decides to go. And the others want to join.

What connects a photograph, the Second World War and a young couple? Set in the town of Kozienice, which was divided between the Polish and the Germans, the film follows Jewish photographer, Chaim Berman, through his family history, political persecution and work.

Two hosts attempt to create the best show of the world in front of a live audience who can cancel it at anytime. The hosts alternate between their shows and try to get the best approval rating. Each episode is comprised of 6-8 shows.

The director accompanies the German women's national soccer team.

Inspired by popular suspense short stories and anthology series like "The Twilight Zone," "The Nicest People in the World" confronts us with the supernatural and tackles the issues of our time in an exciting, frightening and satirical way. The teenager Lill runs like a ghostly thread through the four seemingly self-contained stories. But what do a crossbow, a manga comic and a video game have to do with it?
